A natural lot of polished almandine garnet chips from India, with tumbled pieces sized roughly 5 to 10mm. The stones carry the deep red to burgundy colour almandine is known for, darkening to near-black in the thicker pieces and glowing wine-red where the light passes through. A high polish across the lot gives every chip a glassy shine.
