A natural quartz and muscovite specimen from the Shigar Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, one of the world's most celebrated localities for fine quartz crystals. The specimen displays well-formed, glassy quartz points alongside muscovite mica plates with characteristic layered striations throughout. Completely natural and untreated, makes an excellent collector specimen for display.
