This is a rare variety of Auralite 23, with naturally occurring green amethyst. Typically, green amethyst has undergone a process of heat treatment to become green (from purple). This variety of Auralite 23 amethyst from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada is completely natural and has not been enhanced. Auralite 23 is a unique variety of amethyst that is only sourced from one mine in the world. The Auralite 23 crystal has also been estimated at over 1 billion years old, making it one of the oldest crystals in the world!
