A 24 x 18 mm natural labradorite cabochon from Tabor Island, Nain, Labrador, Canada. The original place labradorite was first discovered and named after.
Weighing 23ct, this piece displays some blue flashes across the polished face, as shown in the photos. Completely natural and untreated.
In August 2025, Erik acquired an old collection of Canadian minerals including original rough labradorite mined at Tabor Island between 1989 and 1993, sourced directly from one of the people involved in the mining.
He has worked with a cutting partner in Thailand to release a limited collection of cabochons from this rare material, almost never seen on the market today.
