Canadian Labradorite Expedition 📍Tabor Island, Nain, Labrador

Erik acquired an old collection of Canadian minerals in August of 2025, including the rough labradorite from Tabor Island, Nain, Labrador. The labradorite was mined between 1989 and 1993 and sourced directly from one of the original miners.

Erik has worked in-person with a cutting partner in Thailand to release a limited collection of cabochons from this old-stock labradorite, rarely available on the market today.

Labradorite was first discovered in Labrador, Canada. This limited collection of cabochons was cut from old-stock Tabor Island rough, shown with photographs from the original miner's album, taken at the 1989 expedition.
